Hello and welcome to my humble site! My name is Ashley and I feel as though this site will help other lesbians through their inner conflicts when it comes to religion. I do not have a major in Theology, so these are my mere thoughts and opinions. This site is geared more towards lesbians, but everyone is welcome.
Let me start off by saying that I consider myself to be a Christian. I love the Lord dearly and there is nothing in this world that I love more. I found myself having inner conflicts when it came to religion because I was taught that if you were gay/lesbian, then you were an abomination. I no longer feel that way, but it took me a while to get to this point. I have done a lot of reading, research, and prayer in order to be at peace with myself.
I’ve had a lot of support from my family and friends, but not a lot of people are as fortunate as I am. We have so many people who are gay, but can’t come to terms with it because they don’t have any support from family or friends. People are committing suicide because they don’t know how to deal with their feelings on the gay issue. Being gay/lesbian isn’t easy because you have so many judgmental people in this world.
