A Lesbians Faith

How many of you lesbians have heard the U haul joke? Maybe some of you who come across this site don’t know what the joke is, so the joke goes like this. What do lesbians bring on their second date? A U haul truck. It’s not hilarious, but it’s true.

In the lesbian community it seems that when lesbians first meet they move in together right away. One week your friend says they are dating someone and the next week the friend that was dating someone moves in with the person they met.

I am not ashamed to admit that the U haul joke applies in my relationship. I’m not sure why lesbians are so quick to commit because I know that’s not true for the gay men. Maybe women are more emotional than men, so they tend to commit faster or maybe women have been in the closet for so long that they are quick to jump when someone comes along. Who knows?

Some people may disagree with my concept, but maybe you are one of those people who do not like to commit. I’m just stating my opinion. I really think there is truth to the U haul joke because in my relationship with Kelley I moved in almost one month later after meeting her. WHAT WAS I THINKING RIGHT? When you feel a connection with someone you’re attracted to, it’s hard not to make that commitment move. I’d love to hear any of your experiences in relation to the U haul theory!
