A Lesbians Faith

Here is a topic for not just gay / lesbian, but for the mainstream. How many of you remember when you first started dating someone and you were discrete about everything you did? You make sure you say the right things, do the right things, and act a certain way. The last thing you want to do when you’re dating someone is embarrass yourself.

How many of you lesbians have heard the U haul joke? Maybe some of you who come across this site don’t know what the joke is, so the joke goes like this. What do lesbians bring on their second date? A U haul truck. It’s not hilarious, but it’s true.

In the lesbian community it seems that when lesbians first meet they move in together right away. One week your friend says they are dating someone and the next week the friend that was dating someone moves in with the person they met.

I am not ashamed to admit that the U haul joke applies in my relationship. I’m not sure why lesbians are so quick to commit because I know that’s not true for the gay men. Maybe women are more emotional than men, so they tend to commit faster or maybe women have been in the closet for so long that they are quick to jump when someone comes along. Who knows? Read more »

I’d like to talk about a particular pastor whom I think is a great inspirational speaker. The pastors’ name is Joel Osteen and he was on sixty minutes. He is getting condemned for not condemning others. Joel Osteen’s messages are uplifting and encouraging.

Many other pastors are saying negative things about Joel Osteen because he doesn’t bring correction to people’s lives, but I think people already know the wrong things they do and don’t need to be reminded of their wrong doings. Why not let God bring conviction to their hearts? After all people receive correction better when it comes to positive reinforcement, right? Read more »

I saw a comedian on television and I really like her, so I thought I might share a little clip from you tube with you. Her name is Suzanne Westenhoefer and I find her funny.

I actually saw her comedy skit on Logo, which is the gay channel I spoke about in one of my posts under lesbian entertainment. Not only is she funny, but she is an attractive woman and YES she is a lesbian!

Here is one of her skits that I personally thought was funny. I might like this particular stand up because I have something in common with Suzanne Westenhoefer, which are cats. I hope you enjoy the clip as much as I did!

Hi everyone, I have a funny story I would like to share with everyone. Sunday night Kelley and I were going to bed and Kelley dosed off, but I was still kind of awake. Our miniature schnauzers sleep in our bed with us and they heard a noise, so they jumped down off the bed.

My dogs, Missy and Baldwin are walking around in the bedroom and then I’m hearing this crunching sound. I elbow Kelley and I whisper, “Honey, do you hear that?” Kelley gets mean when you wake her up, so she didn’t respond and I didn’t want to nudge Kelley again, but I still can hear this crunching sound.

I start yelling at Missy because I can see Baldwin standing there, but I can’t see Missy. I’m thinking that Missy has something and won’t leave it alone. Then I’m wondering if something else is in the house because we have a doggy door in the back of the house that goes out to the backyard, so now I’m wondering if a raccoon got in the house. I want to discuss a sensitive topic, so here it goes. Homosexual activity is not appropriate in the eyes of conservatives mostly because of what the bible says and they probably feel; it’s not normal. My research has raised a few questions. For one, homosexual acts are not in the Ten Commandments and secondly scientists have found homosexual behavior in animals, which tells us mating with the same sex, can be natural.

Some of you out there who come across this site may wonder why I put lesbian religion and lesbian entertainment together on one site. The answer is very simple. I want people to be able to find positive resources about lesbian religion and yet be able to see into the gay / lesbian community. There are some extremely religious people out there who may be appalled at the idea of having religion and gay entertainment on the same page, but I say WHATEVER to them.

I know from experience that when I was researching homosexuality and the bible, I found tons of information, but I had to go to a completely different site to see into the gay culture. Why can’t you have both? There is good clean fun out there catering to the gay / lesbian community. If you are one of those people who don’t like clubs because you don’t like drinking or dancing, then you can try a dating service. Not all dating services are considered meat markets. I will get to the dating topic later, but for now let’s focus on my strange idea of putting lesbian religion and lesbian entertainment on the same page.

There are lots of lesbians out there that have put their faith on the back burner because of judgmental pastors / religious activists. I see so many lesbians out here who are broken inside and feel ashamed of who they are, so they hide. Read more »

There is an awesome channel on cable television and it is specifically for gay / lesbian community. If you have bright house, it’s on channel one eighty-one and its called logo. You have 24 hours of non stop gay shows.

They have music countdown, comedy skits, politics, and anything else you could possibly imagine. If you’re looking for any porn on this channel, you won’t find that. Just good clean gay shows. They also play all your gay / lesbian movies. There are some really good movies out there for the gay community.

Yeah, the regular programs on television are great to, but it’s really nice to have a gay channel that caters to the gay / lesbian community. Sometimes I watch logo all day because they have movie marathons. It’s kind of addicting like lifetime. Watching logo can help you feel more comfortable with yourself when it comes to being OUT. Most of you lesbians out there are aware of the show called, L word. I think it’s comforting to know there is an all lesbian show out there for our lesbian community to watch. For those of you out there that do not know about this show, I encourage you to watch it. The show airs every Sunday night on show time at nine o’clock eastern time.

Once you start watching L word, you will be hooked. I actually found this show by accident when it first started to air. I came home from work one night and was surfing the television for something good to watch and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought, wow this show looks really interesting! I’ve watched the L word ever since.

I went on the web and found a small clip to show you. I was debating on getting a clip that gave an overview of the show, but thought the oil wrestling video was a bit more entertaining. So sit back and enjoy the small clip I found for you!

Many of you have your first memorable moment of your first lesbian date. I was in extreme shock when I went on my first date. I wanted to impress this woman and I had no idea what lesbians typically do on their first date, but now I think back and a date is a date. Dates are the same for straights as it is for gay / lesbian. I remember the date very clearly.

Kelley, whom is my partner, is the person I went on my first date with. Yes, the person I went on my first lesbian date with is the partner I’m with now! I had her meet me somewhere twenty minutes away from where I lived because I didn’t know if she was going to be a psycho! I originally met Kelley at a club, so there is no telling who you might run into. I was nervous the whole ride over to meet Kelley. The twenty minute drive felt like an hour because I was so nervous.
